Hussey Painting Services was founded in 1979 by Thomas G. Hussey.

History

Following a full-time painting apprenticeship in Ireland, Thomas G. Hussey’s interests soon led him to New York where he served for 10 years in the Painters Union. In the late 1970’s, Thomas G. Hussey relocated his services to Northwest Connecticut to pursue small business ownership. By the late 1990’s, he transitioned key responsibilities for Hussey Painting to his son Emmet Hussey. As a lifetime resident of Lakeville, CT, Emmet Hussey continues to manage services throughout the region.

Today, Thomas and Emmet collaboratively oversee every project to insure beyond satisfactory results. Hussey Painting prides itself on its origins and its lengthy history as a family-run business.

Description

Hussey Painting currently employs 15 professionals – allowing for substantial support for both small and large-scale projects. Additionally, our large assortment of professional equipment, including 55-foot aerial lift equipment, assists in the completion of various projects. Our services have extended throughout Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts- traveling by client request.

Hussey Painting is a member of The Allied Trades Association. Our services are currently licensed through the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection. Insurance for Hussey Painting Services is provided by ‘Selective Insurance for General Liability’ and Workmans’ Compensation Insurance is provided by ‘The Hartford’. We now carry Lead Hazard Insurance as required by law. We are licensed by the EPA (Enviromental Protection Agency).
